1. Acceptance of Terms

By using FileConverter ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

FileConverter provides free online file conversion tools. Files are processed temporarily and automatically deleted after 30 minutes. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload files containing malware, viruses, or harmful code.
• Use the Service for illegal activities or copyright infringement.
• Attempt to bypass rate limits or abuse server resources.
• Use automated scripts or bots to submit excessive requests.

4. File Size & Limitations

Maximum file size is 500 MB. Maximum 20 files per upload. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not responsible for any data loss or corruption during file conversion.

5. Intellectual Property

FileConverter does not claim any ownership of uploaded or converted files. Your files remain your property. The Service itself, including its design, code, and branding, is the intellectual property of FileConverter.

5.1. DMCA & Copyright Infringement

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that any material available on or through the Service infringes upon any copyright you own or control, please immediately notify our Designated Copyright Agent:

Your DMCA notice must include: (i) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed; (ii) identification of the infringing material and its location; (iii) your contact information; (iv) a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized; (v) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

6. Third-Party Services

This Service uses Google AdSense for advertising and Google Analytics for traffic measurement. Your use of the Service is also subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

FileConverter is not liable for any damages arising from use or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to data loss, conversion errors, or service interruptions. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate jurisdiction.
